“Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.”
Thank you Access Consciousness for this months mantra, it rocks!! One of the tools I use with all of my clients is called ‘Center of Head’. Center of Head is a place of neutrality, grace and ease. It is a place where you can see clearly without judgement or emotional charge. It is a place of being, instead of thinking. It is the space where thoughts are absent. And I why I love this months mantra so much, is because it is another great way to get to a place of neutrality quickly, without having to sit down and meditate. We still want to practice in meditation so that we can be neutral more of the time. I hope this mantra helps you get to a neutral place where you can watch and feel yourself shift. So BE BRAVE, dive in and look at your shi(f)t! This is a really great time of year to practice this tool because for some of us, the holidays’ are challenging. Do you typically get lit up by friends, family, excess food and drink, or lack of sleep, snarky comments, etc..? Instead, ask yourself, “What would it be like if the holidays were FUN and full of love and joy?” So when and where would you use this mantra? Here’s some suggestions to get you started.- When you feel dislike or hatred about something or someone… “Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.”
- When you make any type of judgement…”Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.”
- When you don’t like how your children or parents are behaving…”Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.”
- When you don’t get what you want…”Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.”
- When someone flips you off in traffic, or when you flip someone off in traffic:)…”Interesting point of view, I have this point of view.”
