Sensation

  Sensation is the power of perceiving through the senses.  It is a power, a superpower that we may or may not be utilizing.  What we see, what we hear, external and internal feelings, the smells, and the tastes are each pathways of communication to our body and spirit.  Are you listening? Sensation is an inexplicable awareness.  It is the capacity to detect and witness our internal landscape. As the saying “New Year, New You” goes, I’m spinning my resolution to be simple, attainable, and enjoyable.  It goes like this…   New Year, A More Aware YOU     The ability to use sensation will increase mindfulness, awareness, and connectivity to ourselves and those we love the most.   Being more aware is only choosing to pay more attention to your senses more of the time.  You can flex and train those superpower muscles every day to enhance your connection to your body and your intuition.   A commitment to you, that benefits you and those around you.  A commitment to you, in which failure isn’t an outcome.  It’s only where can I become more aware right now. Here are a few questions to begin, How do I feel right now?  What do I know to be true for me in this situation? What do I see here?  Is there another way to look at it or behind it or around it?  How do I hear what’s being expressed within myself?  Is it with love or with judgement?    Exploring what’s true for you and how you perceive the world around you and within you, allows for greater expansion of your being. Allow the fear and the struggle to show up and then melt away.  It may need to show up to fully clear away.  Be neutral to everything. Begin to feel more, identify with the truths in your life, and watch as you begin breaking down the obstacles that gift you freedom and clarity to obtain your desires.
