“There is always enough TIME.”
We can certainly all relate to feeling like there is not enough time in each day. For me personally, my biggest challenge with time comes with my children and getting them places they need to be ON TIME. I can get flustered, angry, panicked, and off my rocker when we are running late. I also thought this mantra was appropriate for me this month as we bring a puppy into our home, lives, and schedule. Besides, following this mantra this month, here are some other thoughts to inspire a new relationship with time. 1. We always have enough time. Pick your priorities. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with our never ending to do lists. But, if you make 3-4 things a priority each day, know that that’s enough. And, knowing the list will never end, what would it be like if it was all fun and easy? 2. When we get grounded and focused time opens up. Instead of multitasking, get grounded and clear and focus on one thing at a time. You will notice how much more efficient you are in each task. This will open up more time for something else. 3. What would it be like if every it was OK that nothing on your list got done today? We can go to fear here. If nothing gets done, I’m a failure, I’m worthless, I’ve wasted time, etc.. Fill in the blank for what comes up for you. Then ask yourself, “What’s the truth?” What will actually happen if nothing on your list gets done? Maybe you get to spend more time with a friend, or your kids, or your husband. Let’s make friends with time! In Health and Healing,
