Internal Spring Cleaning – Part 1 Acupuncture

Happy Spring!

Once we get that first day of warmer weather, it’s like something inside of us is called to “clean up.”  You are hanging out outside and start thinking about cleaning up the yard, and then next thing you know you’re in the garage and cleaning that junk up too!  You start thinking about what you want to throw away, how you want to organize this area and that area, and where you need some fresh perspectives.

But what about our bodies?  This is such a great time of year to look inside, clean up the junk, the cobwebs, the stale energy and start reorganizing ourselves, releasing what doesn’t serve us anymore and to start bringing in fresh new creative ideas about how we want our life to look.

SO, your Guide to Internal Spring Cleaning is here!  I’ll be focusing on Acupuncture in Part 1, and there is more to come about Diet and Exercise, Meditation, and the benefits of Receiving and Clairvoyant Reading and Healing!  So exciting!

In Chinese Medicine, Spring is a time of abundance, growth, and new life.  Wood is the primary element and the Liver and Gallbladder are the predominant organs in the Spring.  The Liver is said to keep the bodies energy flowing freely to ensure there is no pain or disease.  The Gallbladder is in charge of all decision making.  It is very important to maintain balance in this organ system as we head into spring.  To learn more the functions of the Liver, click here, or Gallbladder, click here.

Therefore, Acupuncture is a great way to kick start your self cleansing!  I suggest that receiving between 1 and 4 treatments would definitely be sufficient and enhance your spring experience.

Acupuncture is a preventative medicine.  It can help maintain health in the body, get our bodies back in balance, align our physical and emotional bodies with the change in season, aid in detoxifying, and boost the immune system.  Simply stated, it can guide the body to be out with the old and in with the new.

Having more clarity in your life is something we can all use!  Acupuncture can assist in clearing out the excess to leave you feeling more grounded, more spacious, lighter, and clear headed.  It’s like opening the windows on the first warm day and letting in a cool breeze to air out stale, stuck, congealed energy, blood, and fluid.  You feel a sense of awakening and a new sense of purpose takes over you.

Other reasons to get acupuncture are:

To promote better sleep

To get ahead of your allergies – acupuncture treats the symptoms of allergies, but can also help prevent them.

To create more body awareness (how empowering!)

To develop a greater sense of wellness for you and your family.

So kick start your internal cleaning and enhance your well-being.  Get acupuncture and get healing!
